I was so happy to see all of you and I will post some great pictures!!<br />The Easter Egg Hunt was fun! The wind kept a lot of you away but those of us who showed up had a great time. <br />Easter was a wonderful service and time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! The tomb is empty, He Is Alive!!<br />Children's Worship was so great! Mr. Chris and Pastor Emilio did a fantastic job and I hope everyone enjoyed the time of worship. To finish the month we wrote cinquain poems about missionaries. They were excellent (who knew that everyone from 6 year olds to 12 year olds could write poetry!!) and I will be posting them to be read next week. You can also see a copy of them on the fridge in The Great Room!!<br /><br />Totally Tuesday is March 17, 2009; this is open to ALL Kindergarteners-6th Graders. The cost will be $5 + a permission slip (just in case). We will be taking over the Gym and having a Wild and Crazy time!! The children are being exposed to so much these days and staying aware of their world is important to meet them where they are right now.<br /><br />My 2009 Project: I will attempt to memorize a new verse each week of 2009, that is 52 verses in the Bible. My challenge to you Hampton Roadies is that you learn a verse a week also. In your Sunday School class you receive a verse each week, learn that verse. This would be a once a month occurrance for children Kindergarten through 6th grade. Worship would be during the regular worship time at 10:20am on Sunday morning. I need people to step up and help once a month to be leaders during the worship time to help the children.
